How do I close my account?
If you need to close your TeamRetro account, the steps will depend on whether you're on a trial or a paid subscription. Here’s how to proceed:
Option 1: If you’re on a trial
If you're currently using a free trial and decide not to continue with TeamRetro, you don't need to take any specific action to cancel or delete your account. Your trial will automatically expire at the end of the trial period.
What to expect
- No charges will be made.
- Your account and any data will be automatically deleted 365 days after the end of the trial, in line with our data retention policy.
If you'd like to proactively delete your account before the trial ends, you can contact our support team at info@teamretro.com.
Option 2: If you’re on a paid plan
Only Account Owners can request account deletion. Deleted data cannot be recovered.
If your organization is on a paid plan and you wish to cancel your subscription:
Step 1: Cancel Your Subscription
- From your organization home page, navigate to SETTINGS > SUBSCRIPTION.
- Select CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION.
- Follow the prompts to confirm cancellation.

- Note: If you cannot see the option to CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION, it is likely the case that your organization is on a manually invoiced plan, or you do not have the right permissions to do so. Please have your account owner(s) reach out to info@teamretro.com to proceed with the cancellation.
Once your subscription is cancelled, you will retain access to your account until the end of your current billing period.
Step 2: Account Deletion (Optional)
If you'd like your account and data deleted after cancellation, you can either:
Navigate to the SETTINGS > ACCOUNT tab, and click on DELETE ACCOUNT.


- Or, email us at info@teamretro.com and we can process the deletion for you.
Additional notes
- Account deletions are permanent and cannot be recovered.
- If you're part of a larger organization and not sure who the Account Owner is, you can contact us from your work email at info@teamretro.com and we’ll help direct your request.
- Removing your personal user account from a team or organization does not cancel the organization’s subscription. For instructions, see Removing a team member or user.
