Using colours to categorise ideas

Adding color to your template can make it fun and easier to see ideas.

During the BRAINSTORM phase of your Retrospective, the Facilitator can opt to: 

• COLOR BY TOPIC

This gives you an immediate visual overview of what kind of ideas were shared.

This setting is useful when you are grouping Ideas across different topics. 

• COLOR BY WHO ADDED (Only available when the anonymous setting is not activated)

This gives you an immediate visual overview of your team’s participation.

Ideas will match the color of their owner. 

• COLOR MANUALLY

This allows you to individually color ideas. 

Right-click on the idea to bring up a list of available colors.
