Using colours to categorise ideas
Adding color to ideas can make your retrospective more engaging and easier to interpret at a glance. Whether you're highlighting topics, visualizing team participation, or customizing manually, colors help bring structure and clarity to the discussion.
- COLOR BY TOPIC – Automatically colors ideas based on their topic for easy visual grouping.
- COLOR BY WHO ADDED – Uses participant-specific colors to show individual contributions (not available in anonymous mode).
- COLOR MANUALLY– Lets you assign colors to ideas by right-clicking and choosing a color.
HOW TO COLOR BY WHO ADDED
- This gives you an immediate visual overview of what kind of ideas were shared.
- This setting is useful when you are grouping ideas across different topics.
HOW TO COLOR BY WHO ADDED (Only available when the anonymous setting is not activated)
- This gives you an immediate visual overview of your team’s participation.
- Ideas will match the color of their owner.
