The retrospective process - REVIEW
Reviewing the team’s action plan is a great way to wrap up your retrospective and gives everyone an opportunity to add additional ACTION ITEMS or COMMENTS. You can assign priorities, due dates, and owners to the list of action items.
You can continue to add action items should they come up. The Facilitator can alter who has the ability to add actions by selecting either FACILITATORS CAN ADD ACTIONS, EVERYONE CAN ADD ACTIONS, OR EVERYONE CAN PROPSE ACTIONS.
A TIMER feature can be used to set a time limit as needed.
You also have the chance to review existing action items from previous retrospectives and get the opportunity to close them off or re-assign priorities, due dates, and owners. Enable SHOW PUBLISHED in the case that you have integrated with other workflow tools and have published action items there.
Take this opportunity to also review and reflect on your team agreements. Ensure that all your teams are conforming to the standards you have set in place, and optionally add new ones if needed.
In the case you have parked an item during the DISCUSS phase, and you have some time left over, you can take a look at your parked item(s) and reopen the discussion.
Once the REVIEW has been completed, it’s time to CLOSE the retrospective.
