How to override the calculated estimate with an agreed value
Sometimes the automatically calculated estimate isn’t quite what the team agrees is the right outcome. You can set an agreed estimate that better reflects the group’s final decision.
All manually-overridden scores are indicated by an asterisk (*) beside the newly-agreed score.
Overriding calculated score in the ESTIMATE step
- In the ESTIMATE step, for a given estimation item, navigate to the REVIEW phase and click on the calculated score. You will be met with possible estimation values from the currently-selected estimation deck.
- Choose the new agreed score, at which point the calculated score will be overridden, indicated by an asterisk (*) beside the newly-agreed score.
